Born in Melbourne Australia Mike describes himself as an innovator, creator, professional speaker, author and musician. From an initial background of marketing, Mike joined the financial services industry at age 21. He has held numerous positions in that industry from Financial Planner to Senior Management in New Zealand’s largest financial services organisation.
Mike currenty owns numerous business interests in Media, Publishing, Events, Travel and Training and has a passion for coaching and training. Mike has owned businesses as diverse as construction, human resources, music production, marketing and property investment.
He has business qualifications from Massey University including two academic prizes, has completed numerous industry courses and is a life member of XL results foundation Asia’s largest entrepreneur network. Mike has won numerous industry awards, and was nominated for a 21st century award to financial services, three Extraordinary Life awards and has won Inspirational Speaker of the Year and Businessperson of the year twice (2007 & 2009). Recently he was mentioned by President Bill Clinton for his work in India and Cambodia with the SAGE Foundation.
